As part of the Wisconsin Tech Month programming presented in conjunction with Wisconsin
Voice, the Milky Way Tech Hub will conclude its Milwaukee Tech Advocacy Week by hosting
an Advocacy Discourse. We invite you to join us as we engage in accountability conversations
with local and state policymakers, community activists and organizers, and urban academic
scholars. Contribute to discussions around such topics as:
● Increasing access to broadband internet in our low-income and Native American
communities
● The impact of crime on families’ economic and social growth, the city’s business
retention and recruitment, the overall safety and security of its residents and visitors
● The impact of disinvesting in  intercounty public transportation options,
which negatively impacted low-income communities and racial minorities more
disproportionately
