Using Data Wisely to Help Communities of Color: What You Need to Know

This one-hour virtual program encourages students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and members of the greater Milwaukee community to learn about data equity and how, as future scientists and professionals we can collect, analyze, and use data wisely and ethically to help communities of color to thrive and grow.

Guest speakers include:

  • Dr. Noelle Chesley, Sociology Associate Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies at UWM, founder of TecHealth
  • Krystal Tsosie, Ph.D Candidate in Genomics & Health Disparities at Vanderbilt University
  • Nadiyah Johnson, Founder, Jet Constellations & Milky Way Tech Hub
